How does Cloud Access work?

Your Pitufino needs:
  • to be connected to a router with Internet access.
  • to have a 1.6.x firmware version, ideally the latest.
Register your Pitufino:

On your Pitufino's Settings page, under General Settings, you find settings and a registration form for Cloud Access. Enter your email address, a name or nickname, and choose a strong password. This creates an account for you (if you do not have one yet) and registers your Pitufino. This email address and password is needed to sign in here.

Switch Cloud Access on:

Your Pitufino's settings for Cloud Access include a connection mode. Monitoring mode gives you real-time access to run the Anchor Watch or Multi Display web apps via this site from anywhere with Internet access. This includes setting and monitoring alarms and switching digital outputs (only autopilot control is disabled). Additionally you can choose to store logbook entries and position reports in our database (further entry types such as battery status will be added soon). With the Reporting connection mode, Pitufino makes only brief connections to the server to store entries in the database.
